Designer Brands Inc Web Application Engineer in COLUMBUS, Ohio
Designer Brands Inc. Web Application Engineer. Columbus, OH. Remote work from anywhere in US allowed with less than 2 trips to HQ per year. Build responsive web applications using HTML/CSS and JavaScript. Build Single Page Apps using Angular and Typescript for Responsive Design. Use of RXJS (Reactive Programming), NGRX (Store, Effects, Router-Store, Store-Devtools) and other emerging Front-End Technologies. Participate in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Phases including Requirement Analysis, Implementation and estimating the timelines for the project. Check Cross Browser Compatibility of different elements and tags. Use various debugging tools to find and resolve issues with user interface events, business logic, etc. Participate in the team on agile development cycle and followed Scrum methodology.
Need Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems (or foreign equivalent). Need 18 months of experience as a Software Developer, Programmer Analyst or related IT role. Need 18 months of experience completing programming tasks including: developing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting applications, programs, websites, databases, and systems. Need 18 months of experience with Scrum or similar agile practices?. Need 18 months of experience evaluating UI and application mockups and making recommendations for user interactions with the system. Need 18 months of experience supporting client-side (web-based) user interfaces that connect to Restful APIs.
