We offer comprehensive benefits packages, competitive salaries, and a valued place with the world's leading supplier of military-grade batteries.Job PurposeThe Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the setup of manufacturing processes, conducting in-depth failure analyses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement, and skillfully implementing effective methods to streamline process flow continuously. With a focus on enhancing product quality, reducing production costs, and boosting overall productivity, this role is crucial in driving efficiency, effectiveness, and adherence to stringent product specifications and quality standards.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesRepresent Manufacturing as a liaison on cross-functional teams to coordinate Engineering to smoothly introduce transition newly designed products to production.Design and organize the assembly area to efficiently accommodate product specifications and enhance productivity requirements.Optimize process workflows to consistently enhance product quality, reduce costs, and increase output.Implement and identify innovative manufacturing processes to fulfill cutting-edge product design requirements.Determine the requirements for equipment, tools, fixtures and fulfill real-time production needs for our manufacture operations.Monitor rework and repair operations, consistently monitor and report yield issues, and regularly highlight significant findings.Conduct failure analysis, identify root causes, and pursue effective solutions to minimize in-process defects.Provide training to production operators to fully comply with work instructions, quality standards and engineering requirement, as needed.Other duties as assigned.Compensation Range: $90,000 to 110,000 per year.Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set.Qualifications7+ years in Manufacturing Engineering role, defense Manufacturing industry, strongly preferred.Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Electrical, or related Engineering field.Demonstrated Mechanical Engineer technical expertise.Experience with SolidWorks.Must possess experience in metal and plastic injection molding.Battery packing experience.Strong teamwork and collaboration with various groups both internal and external.Excellent communication, written and verbal skills with cross functional teams.Strong Problem-Solving, Multi-tasking and Analytical skillsGeneral Job RequirementsThe candidate must be able to work in an Office, Production, and Engineering field settings.Must be comfortable to be "hands on" with direct interaction with mechanical and/or electrical components or assemblies and to operate office equipment.Must be able to sit, stand, bend, reach, for extended periods of time and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.Bren-Tronics provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
