Manage engineering staff, providing mentorship and guidance to drive innovation and efficiency. Develop and implement engineering processes to improve workflow and product design. Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and field service, to ensure successful project execution. Evaluate and select mechanical components for system integration. Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations. Troubleshoot and provide solutions for engineering and manufacturing challenges. Requirements of the mechanical engineering manager: 5+ years of engineering experience. 2+ years of staff management experience. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes. Proficiency in CAD software and engineering design principles. Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
