Description

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Attorney/Lawyer in the legal field located in Coral Gables, Florida. The role involves providing legal support in a law firm setting, primarily focusing on Construction Litigation.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with upcoming trials by preparing necessary legal documents and conducting research

• Utilize skills in Construction Litigation to provide expert legal advice

• Conduct eDiscovery processes to identify, collect, and produce electronically stored information for legal proceedings

• Draft legal documents, motions, and pleadings with precision and attention to detail

• Prepare for trials by organizing case materials, evidence, and other pertinent documents

• Apply skills in, Civil Procedure, and Legal Research to effectively represent clients

• Leverage experience in Trial Preparation and Trial Experience to ensure smooth court proceedings

• Draft and prepare legal briefs to present in court

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge in Documentation and Briefing to ensure all legal documents are accurate and compliant

• Collaborate with other legal professionals to discuss case details, client needs, and legal strategies.

Requirements

• Applicant must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and barred in Florida.

• A minimum of three years of experience in the legal field, specifically in an attorney/lawyer role.

• Must have a valid license to practice law in the state.

• Proven experience in civil litigation and construction litigation is essential.

• Proficiency in drafting legal documents, motions, and pleadings.

• Familiarity with civil procedure and legal research.

• Demonstrated experience in briefing and preparing drafts.

• Must have trial experience and must be adept at trial preparation.

• Excellent documentation skills are required.

• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• High ethical standards and professional integrity.

• Proven analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficiency in using legal research software and other related software.

• Must maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
