The Role

We are looking for a passionate Procurement Communications Specialist to join our fast-paced, high-performing team. This individual will be an integral part of the Procurement Operations team as we scale in line with our expanding business needs. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a growing business unit focused on best practice procurement activities, change management practices, procurement communications and training. The Procurement Specialist will support Procurement leadership in driving stakeholder communications and educating the wider business and supply base on best-in-class procurement processes and activities. This is an evolving role, with a focus on growth & development, DEI and ESG procurement best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Focus on procurement change management activities (testing, training and communications)

  • Create and deliver educational procurement content

  • Assist Procurement leadership in the overall management, planning and execution of procurement content across our business

  • Provide stakeholder training and educational guidance on key procurement processes based on our internal practices and policies.

  • Manage regulatory and compliance requirements for procurement, with a focus on DEI/ ESG requirements, ensuring supplier fitness and financial performance.

  • Present procurement performance metrics and projects to senior management.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key partners, providing updates and soliciting feedback.

  • Research and identify prospective suppliers, evaluating products & services and suppliers according to key business criteria and the needs of the wider procurement team

  • Research and identify best practices across procurement activities and present this back to the business and procurement leadership.

  • Prepare proposals, negotiate purchase terms, and issue purchase orders and agreements when needed

  • Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards

  • Mentor and coach a junior team, fostering a culture of excellence and professional development.

What You Bring To The Team

  • Bachelor’s degree in procurement, change project management, supply chain management or a related discipline preferred.

  • Proven Indirect Procurement experience

  • Proven success in procurement, indirect procurement experience is desirable

  • Strong relationship and customer service skills.

  • Experience in communications, training content development and training delivery.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to analyze data and effectively communicate and provide recommendations.

  • Highly organized and detailed, with strong multi-tasking skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication ability.

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Procurement system knowledge preferable (Dynamics 365, JIRA, Agiloft software, Power BI a plus).
