Robert Half Credit Analyst in Corona Del Mar, California

Description We are in search of a Credit Analyst to join our team based in Corona Del Mar, California. This role primarily involves evaluating the financial status of potential clients, monitoring existing clients, performing credit risk assessments, and determining the likelihood of a borrower's ability to pay back debt. The position is within the finance industry, with a focus on credit analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing financial data to assess the likelihood of a borrower honoring their financial obligations.

• Assessing client records and recommending payment plans based on earnings, savings data, payment history, and purchase activity.

• Conducting research to assess the severity of risk associated with lending money to clients.

• Evaluating the financial status of clients by examining liquidity, profitability, and stability indicators.

• Using performance indicators, including predictive models, to identify and recommend changes to policies and procedures.

• Developing and reviewing financial models to predict future economic conditions for different scenarios.

• Preparing reports about the degree of risk in lending money to specific clients.

• Following trends in the credit industry and adapting strategies accordingly to mitigate risks.

• Maintaining an up-to-date understanding of new industry trends and regulations affecting the credit management strategy.

• Utilizing skills in 3M, CRM, Data Processing, IBM AS/400, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, Collection Processes, Credit, Credit Application, Credit Limit, Credit Reports to perform the role effectively. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Credit Analyst or in a related role

• Proficiency in 3M, CRM, Data Processing, IBM AS/400, and JD Edwards EnterpriseOne

• Demonstrable knowledge of Collection Processes, Credit, Credit Application, Credit Limit, and Credit Reports

• Strong analytical and decision-making skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work output

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

• A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field is preferred

• Familiarity with financial modeling and analysis is a plus.
