Experian Consumer Services (ECS) is looking to hire a talented Senior UX Writer & Content Strategist who combines an aptitude for clean, intuitive UX copy with a passion for communicating with empathy to all users. An ideal candidate sees content as an integral part of great design. You understand that how you say something and how you see something are two sides of the same coin, and you can translate visual style into tone and voice (or vice versa). As such, you will sit at the intersection between UX design and content strategy, partnering with UX product designers to create customer experiences that are not just clear and coherent, but also make a positive impact to consumers' lives. Your work will touch product content, ecommerce/marketing, email and push campaigns, customer support, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Be an advocate for content on cross-functional teams (including product, design, CRM, and user research) to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience

  • Be proficient in house style, making nuanced decisions around voice and tone to reflect different user journeys and personas

  • Thoroughly understand and execute against product requirements

  • Gain an understanding of how individual projects fit into larger business strategy

  • Invest in creating performance-driven copy with a desire to understand the data behind copy performance and iterate accordingly

  • Meet with other content strategists regularly to brainstorm and give feedback on each other's work

  • 5–8 years of experience in professional writing and content strategy, including 3+ years of UX writing

  • UX certification welcome but not required

  • An impressive portfolio showcasing UX writing and content strategy work

  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly around voice, tone, grammar, and style

  • Experience working alongside product designers and product managers in an agile environment

  • Highly organized, independent, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment; takes initiative on projects

  • Experience navigating multiple rounds and/or complex feedback from stakeholders, knowing how and when defend content choices

  • Well versed in applying a style guide to writing in different mediums

  • Skilled at self-editing as well as offering constructive feedback to others

  • Technical skills: Figma, Jira

Benefits/Perks:

  • Great compensation package and bonus plan

  • Core benefits including full medical, dental, vision, and matching 401K

  • Flexible work environment, ability to work remote, hybrid or in-office

  • Flexible time off including volunteer time off, vacation, sick and 12-paid holidays
