Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Administrator to join our team in the Crane, IN area.

Job Summary:

This position has general supervision, assists in analyzing, planning, implementing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing large complex systems or networks. This includes installing, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting the software, hardware, and network appliances according to the overarching system design and specifications. Additionally, responsibilities include providing technical assistance throughout ATO (Authority to Operate) and/or IATT (Interim Authority To Test)efforts by conduct scans, cyber hardening systems, and developing technical artifacts necessary for ATO /IATT accreditation.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Establishes networking environment by installing, configuring, testing and documenting the equipment/network systems according to the design and specifications

  • Conduct research and development to determine and provide recommended solutions to unique challenges

  • Provide technical support throughout the ATO or IATT process to include performing and processing SCAP (Security Content Automation Protocol) and ACAS (Assured Compliance Assessment Solution) scans, implementing and assessing security controls, development of POA&M’s, creation of other various supporting documentation, and more

  • Handle independent multi-tasking and be an effective self-starter on unique tasking.

  • Develops documentation for installation, operation, and troubleshooting of IT systems, subsystems, and components

  • Supports the integration of sensors and microsensors into various unmanned systems

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma with minimum 4 years relevant experience as described above OR equivalent education and years of experience

  • Must have or obtain CompTIA Security+ within 6 months of start date

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Experience with technical documentation is accurate, complete, meets editorial and government specifications and adheres to standards for quality, graphics coverage, format, and style

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suites, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • U.S. active Secret Security Clearance required. In addition to the security clearance, this position may require an additional background screening for base access

  • U.S. Citizenship required

Physical Requirements:

  • Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as the copy machine/computer printer

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time

  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc
