Amentum Technical Program Manager in Crane, Indiana

Amentum is hiring a Technical Program Manager to provide support to a key strategic DoD partner. Must possess strong program management, operations, relationship building, and technology strategy development experience.

This position can be performed through a remote/teleworking basis with up to 25% travel. Travel costs to the site will be covered.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Interface with customers on a regular basis for support of engineering and program management activities.

  • Monitor customer feedback and advice on a broad range of issues related to products/services being delivered.

  • Support strategic planning initiatives with senior Government leaders.

  • Determine quality standards to be used in program.

  • Direct the investigation and resolution of operational problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel.

  • Recognize potential program risks and create mitigations to avoid issues.

  • Support the coordination of acquisition strategy.

  • Streamline operational processes for increased efficiency.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical field and 10 years of job-related experience or equivalent.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills are required.

  • Extensive travel may be required.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance (Note: Must be a US Citizen to obtain a US clearance)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree

  • Active Secret Clearance.

  • PMP

  • Lean Six Sigma
