*Position Overview:*
The CNC Machinist will be responsible for operating 3-axis and 5-axis Haas CNC machines. The ideal candidate will have experience with Haas controls and a strong understanding of CNC machining processes. This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality parts.
*Key Responsibilities:*
Set up and operate 3-axis and 5-axis Haas CNC machines.
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Load and unload materials and tools into the CNC machines.
Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines.
Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Collaborate with the production team to optimize workflows and processes.
*Qualifications:*
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, specifically with Haas controls.
Strong understanding of CNC machining processes.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Excellent attention to detail and quality.
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills.
*Preferred Qualifications:*
Experience with Haas controls preferred
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of vertical milling best practice.
