Description
We are on the lookout for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our manufacturing team in CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio. The role involves managing and processing accounts payable, using Oracle Vendor Master, and overseeing other accounting functions. This role provides a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize Oracle Vendor Master for managing and processing accounts payable
• Handle accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel for daily operations
• Perform data entry tasks and check processing as required
• Handle vendor management activities to ensure smooth operations
• Use Oracle VM to perform various accounting functions
• Assist in maintaining accurate records of accounts payable (AP)
• Contribute to the efficient functioning of accounting functions
• Manage customer credit applications and maintain accurate records
• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action for delinquent payments.
Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar role
• Proficient with Accounting Software Systems such as Oracle, Oracle VM
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with basic Accounting Functions and Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience with Check Processing and Data Entry
• Ability to manage relationships with vendors (Vendor Management)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
• Professional certification in Accounting or related field is a plus
