Farm related duties to be performed including unloading, installation of various types of farm grain bins. Will need to be able to work with power tools and hand tools, be able to lift 50 lbs and not be afraid of heights. Employees will also help with the farming of corn and soybeans. Employees will need to work the ground and plant, cultivate, spray and harvest corn and soybeans using tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, combines, grain carts and self-propelled machinery. Employees will perform infield repairs and maintenance on equipment. Assist with the general duties during the calving season. Duties will be assisting with birth deliveries, castrating, weighing, catching and loading animals. Doing record keeping, administering medications, giving vaccinations or insecticides as appropriate. Cleaning and maintaining animal housing areas. Will operate tractors and farm equipment. Exposure to extreme temp, repetitive movements, extensive pushing, pulling walking and frequent stooping Involves lifting and carrying of 50 lbs frequently The hours listed represent the normal work schedule. Due to the nature of the duties and weather it is the prevailing practice to work substantially more, less or different hours than those listed, sometimes for extended periods of time. When the number of hours for a week exceeds the number listed then, the worker may be offered, but not required, to work more hours. Employer may request, but not require, workers to work more than the stated daily hours and/or on the weekend, a workers Sabbath or federal holidays. Worker must report to work at designated time and place each day. Daily or weekly work schedule may vary due to weather, sunlight, temperature, crop conditions, and other factors. Employer will notify workers of any change to start time.
