Job Description:
Reporting to the Assistant Dean of Student Success in the Jonsson School, the Director is responsible for the oversight, creation and implementation of outreach, recruitment, and engagement for all undergraduate (first-year and transfer) student programs. The Director works directly with students and academic departments and programs to ensure that the learning and engagement outcomes with our community, and industrial and partner organizations are met.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related progressive experience.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Master’s Degree in related field preferred or Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience in community engagement, outreach or recruitment, and program development.
Excellent leadership, supervisory, planning, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills, public speaking.
Strong creative, strategic, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Works well in a team and can be an independent worker.
Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office, PeopleSoft, social media).
