About the Role:

The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas is looking for an Examiner to participate in the supervision of holding companies less than $10 billion and enforcement activities of institutions subject to Federal Reserve supervision within the Banking Supervision, Enforcement and Holding Companies team. You will conduct off-site reviews, inspections, and monitoring of holding companies assigned to the unit. In addition, the team is responsible for enforcement actions entered into by entities subject to supervision by the Federal Reserve System. The role requires communication with all stakeholders, including financial institutions, Reserve Bank management, Board of Governors staff, and other regulatory agencies.

You Will:

  • Conduct off-site reviews/inspections/monitoring of holding companies less than $10 billion pursuant to the Federal Reserve System’s and the department’s policies and procedures, including assign applicable ratings, complete the appropriate analysis work program/inspection report/memorandum, and provide findings/ratings/response to the holding companies

  • Manage a portfolio of entities subject to formal and informal enforcement action, including drafting, implementing, and terminating enforcement action documents and consulting with Reserve Bank and Board of Governors staff and other regulatory agencies regarding an institution’s level of compliance with an enforcement action

  • Communicate by telephone or email with management of financial institutions

  • Represent the Reserve Bank in Federal Reserve System work groups or communities of practice pertaining to enforcement, holding company, and other responsibilities of the unit

You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, audit, or related field

  • Minimum three years of bank regulatory and/or industry experience

  • An examiner commission from a federal or state banking agency

  • Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for any of the above requirements

This position may be filled at various levels based on candidate's qualifications as determined by the department.

This role allows for the employee to work in a hybrid manner with some work conducted onsite at the Federal Reserve work location and some work conducted remotely. Specific schedule details will be discussed during the recruitment process.
