Job Title: Facilities Coordinator

Job Description

A Facilities Coordinator ensures a safe and functional work environment by managing building maintenance, repairs, and related services. Often working under a Facilities Manager, the Facilities Coordinator coordinates with vendors and contractors to maintain building operations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee building maintenance, schedule repairs, and ensure equipment is in good working order.

  • Ensure safety standards are followed, participate in emergency preparedness planning, and manage hazardous waste disposal.

  • Work with vendors and contractors for supplies, services, and repairs.

  • Assist with planning for future building needs and ensure adequate supply levels.

  • Coordinate with different departments and staff to ensure smooth operations.

  • Assist with budgeting for maintenance and repairs.

  • Coordinate space use, inventory, and assessments.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for internal facilities issues.

  • Log maintenance and cleaning activities.

Work Environment

The role is based in a hospital environment with working hours from 7 am to 4 pm. The position requires the ability to work rotational weekends.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
