HR/Administrative Assistant

Job Type: Full-time

Work Location: In person

Salary: $50k+ depending upon experience

Adecco is proud to partner with a midsize law firm in Downtown Dallas to find a HR/Admin Assistant to join their team. The primary responsibility of this role is to handle the recruitment process, but you will also support various HR and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment Process: Manage the entire recruitment process, including job postings, coordinating interviews, and providing follow-up as needed.

  • Onboarding: Support new hires with onboarding instructions and other policy information, including the firm employee handbook.

  • Employee Files: Maintain employee files to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance.

  • Payroll Records: Assist with maintaining payroll records, including correcting missed punches for non-exempt staff.

  • Open Enrollment: Assist with the annual open enrollment process, including final reconciliation of employee enrollments.

  • Administrative Projects : Support the Firm Administrator with ad hoc administrative projects.

Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years of recruiting experience, with a STRONG PREFERENCE for finance and/or legal experience.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects with attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Familiarity with HR policies and procedures is a plus.
