Job Title: Production Manager

Job Description: We are looking for a highly skilled Production Manager to join our team. The Production Manager will play a crucial role in our manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient production operations and optimizing procedures to maximize productivity and reduce costs. This role involves overseeing staff, maintaining production schedules, coordinating manufacturing processes and ensuring product quality.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement operational processes to maintain both short and long-term production scheduling, ensuring manufacturing targets are achieved.
Oversee the management of human and material resources, ensuring optimum use to meet production objectives.
Implement strategies to increase productivity and production efficiency.
Promote a culture of health and safety, implementing necessary safety standards and guidelines.
Identify delays or problems within the production process and develop solutions to minimize their impact.
Ensure the final product meets quality standards and customer requirements.
Develop a positive culture and improve overall staff engagement.
Maintain operational budget and reduce any production expenses where possible.
Establish strong relationships with teams, stakeholders, and vendors.
Requirements
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar production managerial role in the manufacturing industry.
Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations.
Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts.
Strong problem-solving, organization, and decision-making skills.
Exceptional leadership and management skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
This role demands a proactive leader with a strong commitment to excellence in manufacturing and a proven ability to drive results through team collaboration and continuous improvement initiatives. The hours will align with the production schedule which is M-Th 6:30-4:30 and Fri 4:30-2:30.
