SUMMARY:

Our Marketing team plays an important role in the development of our strategy and its successful execution. As a Product Manager, you will play a key role in defining and executing short- and long-term product strategies for the division. In support of ITW’s Enterprise Strategy, you will create a pipeline of differentiated products that position our division to grow in new and existing markets. Leveraging an entrepreneurial mindset, you will work cross-functionally to drive pipeline execution and ensure we capitalize on market opportunities. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILTIES:

New Product Development:

  • Own product roadmap for assigned product or market.

  • Gather and apply Voice-Of-Customer (VOC) insights to develop pipeline of differentiated products.

  • Lead and manage the entire New Product Development (NPD) process, from concept to launch, utilizing ITW’s CBI framework.

  • Develop comprehensive business cases to support NPD efforts.

  • Assist in long-range and annual planning

Operational Strategy:

  • Partner with operations to define operational strategy including capacity improvements and localization efforts.

  • Drive ITW’s 80/20 Front-To-Back (FTB) Process through entire product portfolio.

  • Drive operational execution for assigned product or market.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, & COMPETENCIES:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or similar required.

  • 5+ years’ experience required in product management required.

  • B2B Manufacturing experience preferred.

  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, and able to make strategic and operational decisions.

  • Strong organizational skills and proven capability in successfully handling multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong leadership, influencing, and communication skills.

  • Domestic or international travel required - typically 30%.
