Aerotek CNC Lathe Machinist in Davenport, Iowa
Job Description:
Currently looking to hire a CNC lathe machinist to work out of our facility located in Davenport, IA. Our company produces foundry tooling for various industries including resource & mining, construction, commercial piping, hydraulics, heavy equipment, and engine components. Candidates looking for the following out of their next opportunity should apply -
Excellent day shift hours
Wanting more variety in their work and dealing with custom/non-production based projects
Prefer working with a smaller, close-knit team (headcount of roughly 10-12 people)
Skills/Qualifications:
Demonstrate strong proficiency and ability to independently run nearly all facets of CNC lathes (setups, touch offs, tool changes, program modifications, etc.)
Ability to program G&M Code
Preferably have experience with softwares such as MasterCam
Have a strong understanding of blueprints (identifying GD&T symbols such as true position, concentricity, runout, etc.)
Additional Information:
1st shift / 7am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday.
WEEKLY pay + full benefits (medical/dental/vision
Pay dependent on experience
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
