-Manage the shipping and receiving of products. -Manage Distribution operations to meet targets for essential operational measures in Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery. -Direct the planning and assignment of work for the most efficient use of personnel and equipment. -Supervise and manage the training documentation and training of personnel in the order picking, packing and shipping functions. -Utilize root cause analysis to resolve and lead corrective action for complaints related to transportation, logistics handling, warehousing, and order processing of finished products. -Effectively evaluate, coach, mentor, train, develop and deploy Distribution staff. -Communicate policies, procedures, and practices effectively and ensure their effective interpretation and application by means of Communication and Information meetings (C&Is), roundtables, staff meetings, and one-on-one interaction. -Ensure that compliance processes are followed for the transportation of hazardous materials. -Lead by example, modeling the attitude and behaviors that will drive individual and organizational success. -Acquires capital assets, as appropriate, to enhance operational efficiency. Spend a minimum of 30% of the time within the operational area of the Distribution Center. -Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Manage Distribution operations to meet targets for essential operational measures in Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery.
Direct the planning and assignment of work for the most efficient use of personnel and equipment.
Supervise and manage the training documentation and training of personnel in the order picking, packing and shipping functions.
