We are seeking a Deputy Program Manager to support our Special Operations Mission Planning and Execution contract. This will be a fully remote position. The Deputy Program Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Mission Planning Support Engineers (MPSEs) and ensuring they have everything they need to complete their requirements. Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To: Be the focal point for the MPSEs when they have questions or travel requests. Monitor personnel workload, address performance concerns, immediately inform the Program Manager (PM) when a change in Contractor personnel occurs. Review update and submit monthly activity reports to the PM. Review and submit after action reports to the PM. Track travel requests from all MPSEs. Work with the PM on any personnel issues and try to remediate before it escalates. Attend regular telecons with the Government to ensure they are kept abreast of current situations. Maintain employee rosters as well as Government counterparts. Perform ad-hoc tasks assigned by the COR. Assist with proposal development, if necessary. Perform other duties, as assigned. Experience: Knowledge of SOCOMs processes and procedures. Familiar with the Joint Travel Regulation guidelines. At least five (5) years of experience managing multiple employees that are located globally. Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience can be substituted for the degree. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: A+ CE, CCNA - Security, Network+, or SSCP highly desired. Other Required Skills & Abilities: Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
