Our esteemed client, a trailblazing global pharmaceutical powerhouse, renowned for their expertise in developing and manufacturing a wide array of world-class pharmaceutical drugs, life-saving vaccines, and innovative animal-health products, is in search of an exceptional Animal Research Associate to join their dynamic team
Contract
Up to 37/hr
Location: De Soto, Kansas
Responsibilities :
Support development of viral and bacterial vaccine platforms.
Perform lab tasks such as cell culture, virus propagation, assays, and vaccine preparation.
Document results and help optimize new assays (ELISA, qPCR, IFA, etc.).
Assist with training lab technicians and new employees.
Support large animal studies and inter-departmental collaboration.
Contribute to lab safety, compliance, and maintenance.
Qualifications :
B.S./B.A. in Microbiology or related field with 1-3 years of lab experience.
Research experience under supervision and ability to meet project timelines.
General laboratory technique knowledge.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Word and Excel.
Experience in bacterial culture, cell culture, viral culture, protein purification, and ELISA development.
Knowledge of serology, neutralizing antibody assays, and USDA product licensure.
Experience working with livestock animals.
