RELYANT Global LLC Project Controls Engineer in Dededo, Guam
RELYANT Global, LLC is currently seeking an experienced Project Controls Engineer for project-based work in Guam. This position is a hands-on role that requires work with EAC calculation and the use of ERP project software. The Cost Accountant requires good communication skills that exude a positive, customer-oriented attitude. Preference for experience with DoD, DoE, NAVFAC, or USACE construction projects.
Responsibilities
Assisting in the creation, management, and maintenance of project accounting, including revenue recognition, and analysis of financial results.
Performing detailed reporting and analyses of financial data that is key to Program success.
Assist in forecasting, budget preparation, and variance tracking. This includes management and maintenance of monthly and quarterly financial reporting.
Provide timely and accurate financial analytical support for regularly scheduled and ad hoc requests from RELYANT management.
Provide support as needed in managing customer billing and accounts receivable.
Conduct Periodical review the project status by analyzing actual physical progress and reported activity completion and comparing that information to the project schedule
Document project progress and changes, forecast project cost and schedule impacts, and communicate progress updates and projections to team members in P6 (Primavera) and MS Project
Prepare summary and detail level reports which are the fundamental monitoring toll to identify progress and problems with projects
Identify critical path schedule activities and milestones
Perform schedule and activity optimization
Perform cost, quantity, and labor resource loading, monitoring, forecasting, and reporting
Develop baseline documentation to include scoping documents and Basis of Estimates
Track and report key performance indicators and milestones
Perform baseline change control and management
Prepare schedule outputs and reports.
Interfacie with Project Controls Specialists and Project Managers in managing large-scale projects
Work as a liaison between the Guam Regional Manager and the onsite project team.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in technical or financial/business related field
Master's degree, preferred.
Minimum of three (3+) years Commercial and/or Government construction project experience
Experience with Department of Defense, NAVFAC or United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) construction projects.
Advanced level expertise with P6 (Primavera) and MS Office Products, especially MS Project and Excel
Advanced Accounting experience required.
PMP/ or related Project Controls certifications desired.
Experience in Unanet financial systems preferred.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background screen.
Must be able to acquire base access (if applicable)
Strong background in Project Scheduling using P6 (Primavera)
Experience with WBS and Earned Value Management System
