Aerotek Industrial Electrician in Delta, British Columbia
Aerotek is hiring a Red Seal Industrial Electrician to work in Delta, BC.
This company is seeking energetic team players to join their
team. In addition to maintaining equipment in a fast paced Veneer Drying
Facility, you will focus on continuous improvement to maximize production and
quality. This company manufactures vaneer products, which comes over from the
island as sheets, and is sent to this facility to be dried. Product is moving
through conveyors, going through dryers, stacked, graded and shipped out the
door.
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE:
Industrial experience as an electrician
Familiar with Allan Bradley frequency drives
Be able to do some basic programming (can be experience with Siemens if it's strong with a little Allen Bradley)
Looking for this person to join and stay with the company as their next career move. Do not want candidates who are looking for something short term
Sawmill experience is a nice to have
Controls, programming, some leadership skills
TYPICAL DAY/JOB DESCRIPTION:
Will work alongside Kabir (Electrical Lead Controls), and will be filling in for him eventually.
Right now there is only Kabir and they are looking for someone to come in and be able to support
Will be working with two apprentices that may be looking to you for mentorship
Will be organizing projects
Programming/troubleshooting of the mill, 60% of the time
Changing motors, installing frequency drives, designing circuits
Will be working with voltage up to 600
Flexible with job duties as things are always changing depending on the day
