Robert Half Business Analyst in Delta, Ohio

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst in the steel manufacturing industry, located in Delta, Ohio. The successful candidate will be part of the enterprise systems group, leading system implementation and development efforts to drive business improvements. Collaborating with business leaders in finance, supply chain, order management, billing, and operations in a manufacturing environment, the role involves working with various systems including Microsoft Dynamics ERP, IBM Maximo EAM, and those specific to steel production.

Responsibilities:

• Review and document business processes to identify areas for improvement

• Scope requirements for process enhancement and propose development solutions

• Purchase or propose development to meet identified solutions

• Ensure integration with other processes and applications

• Test solutions and ensure their success, documenting their functionality and related processes

• Support solutions and address any arising issues

• Become the subject matter expert for system functionality

• Leverage skills such as requirements gathering, manual testing, and business acumen to effectively perform duties Requirements • Must possess strong skills in Requirements Gathering

• Proficiency in Manual Testing is essential

• Must demonstrate strong Business Acumen

• Previous experience in a Business Analyst role within the Steel Manufacturing industry is preferred

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and diverse groups of stakeholders

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously

• Proficiency in relevant software and technology tools

• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices
