APTIM Data Specialist in Denver, Colorado

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Data Specialist with a functional understanding of SQL and database management to maintain and improve our existing CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) reporting and operational activities. This role will require a willingness to integrate Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning software into our CMMS. This role will involve designing, developing, and deploying operational processes and procedures for machine learning models and algorithms to enhance our data systems' efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze large, complex datasets to develop reporting, notifications, and reporting to improve team effectiveness.

  • Maintain process and protocols for the larger RMMR design team to ensure consistency and completeness throughout RMMR program

  • Research, implement and optimize AI and ML solutions within the CMMS and RMMR processes.

  • Collaborate with IT, field, and office user-teams to integrate new processes into production.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and ML technologies.

  • Document and maintain AI/ML models, experiments, and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Data Manager or similar role.

  • Strong understanding of the potential of AI and ML algorithms and principles.

  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with data processing and feature engineering.

  • Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to teach and train others

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Microsoft 360 analytical products such as PowerBI, Visio, Sharepoint.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

  • Knowledge of CMMS systems and their applications.

  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python or R.

  • Experience with data pipeline orchestration frameworks.

  • Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, parts, and equipment (valves, pumps, etc.) and their construction

  • Prior experience working with and understanding of field personnel and operations
