Actalent Development Operations Associate in Denver, Colorado

Job Title: Development Operations AssociateJob Description

We are looking for a Development Operations Associate to support day-to-day operations within our Distributed Energy organization. This role involves assisting in various operational processes, ensuring efficiency, and helping to maintain smooth workflows across departments. You will be reporting to a developer in the central region.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily operational activities, including process optimization, tracking performance metrics, and improving workflows to ensure efficiency across departments.

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret energy data to support development. Ensure data accuracy and update records in internal systems.

  • Assist in managing relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of products and services.

  • Support inventory management, including monitoring stock levels, coordinating shipments, and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.

  • Prepare and maintain operational reports, including performance metrics, expense tracking, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide actionable insights to management.

  • Handle administrative tasks such as maintaining records and organizing documents to support smooth daily operations.

Essential Skills

  • 1-3 years of experience in an operations role or a related field, preferably in the energy industry.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with ERP or CRM platforms.

  • Able to communicate with clients (vendor management, calls with utilities, etc.).

  • Excellent organization skills, data management, people skills, problem-solving, and resourcefulness.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Energy experience: electrical utility/power generation experience is preferred, renewable experience is a plus.

  • Understanding of how utilities communicate (project interconnection, utility/energy programs, incentives, utility rebates).

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Work Environment

This position follows a hybrid schedule based out of our Denver office, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, which can be more flexible later into the role. You will be working on a team of 10 and reporting to a developer. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
