Position Purpose The Marketing and Product Manager oversees, develops and coordinates the Company s marketing and product strategies. Manages and directs the Marketing, Graphic Design, and Product Management activities to meet company financial goals, support Sales, and provide a high level of service to our customers. This role will help create and build marketing strategies with the input of the Sales and Product Management teams; to grow and support the Sales force, E-Commerce sales, Eagle Claw website content development, advertising materials and create successful exhibits for trade sho

Attendance & Schedule Consistent and regular attendance is required. Full-time position: the person in this role must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week and devote the time and energy needed to complete the responsibilities of the job. This position is expected to work onsite at the Denver job location.

Essential Duties Manage department staff to accomplish the marketing and product management goals of the company. Observe and practice safety and good housekeeping rules and regulations of the Department and Company. Product Management Focus:* Align and support the Marketing, Graphic Design Manager and Product departments with timely communication of new product launches and deletions. * Accountable for the inventory integrity of the E-Commerce site and order fulfillment. * Provide monthly reporting for E-Commerce sales. * Support the National Account Managers with the on-time development of new products that will be included as major product launches, future catalog/E-Commerce additions or in the development of customer private brand items. * Assist in developing Sales Team support material, product information pricing, and programs. * Educate sales team with strategies and assist with product knowledge. Marketing Focus: * Develop creative ways to differentiate our brand with the collaboration of Product Management, Sales and Graphic Design team. * Create marketing support and collateral to support online sales, brand/product awareness and support the marketing efforts of our customer base. * Manage the Eagle Claw website content including marketing calendars, wireframes, and planograms. * Oversee the functionality and structural integrity of the Company s website. * Report analytics to the Director of Product, Inventory and Marketing with and around all digital media activities and track the success of these programs

  • Work with Graphic Designers to keep website imagery updated and to create and distribute email blasts and newsletters.
  • Develop and execute social edia strategy through competitive research, platform determination, messaging and audience identification.
  • Optimizes company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of Company s social content.
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
  • Research and analyze media coverage and industry trends.
  • Distribute product updates to proper channels.
  • Manage paid media, e-mail campaigns, Pro Staff, Influencers, 3rd party relationships and vendors.
  • Oversee and assist the Marketing Coordinator to ensure success in the following areas: Create and edit written, video, photos and social media content. Coordinate scheduling of TV personalities, pro-staff, and field staff anglers for special events Build relationships with approved TV personalities, pro staff, and field staff anglers to create product awareness, loyalty, and drive sales revenue. Communicate with TV personalities, pro-staff, and field staff anglers for story ideas, regional updates and product information. Coordinate all product orders for TV personalities, pro-staff, and field staff anglers and work directly with administrative assistant for order placement and budget.
