TEAMLINX LLLP Radio Frequency Design Engineer in Denver, Colorado

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

System design:

Utilize tools such as iBwave to develop solutions that meet performance standards, building codes and can be efficiently constructed. This includes analyzing benchmark data and importing it into iBwave to ensure proper design goals are being used. Produce and review BOMs for accuracy.

Execution of site surveys:

Collect benchmark data per company standards. Identify and document site conditions that are relevant to completion of a constructable design (pathway, ceiling / wall types, power, access, etc.). This may involve personally performing the work or managing someone else.

Commissioning and troubleshooting:

Develop and execute a system test plan based on the scope of work. Capture necessary data and installation photos to verify installation and system performance.

Creation and review of documentation:

Ensure permit sets and construction drawings contain all relevant code and construction details and match the system design. Review and analyze system performance data to ensure that the system is operating as expected. Ensure close out packages contain necessary detail (as-built design drawings, cable and coverage test results, photos, warranty information, etc.). Ensure that all documentation is uploaded to the appropriate folder.

Work with other team members to ensure successful delivery of projects:

Support Sales and Estimating with preliminary designs, ROMs, and by participating in customer calls. Support Project Managers by directing the technical execution of assigned projects (ensure proper installation of the design, verify correct testing procedures are followed, validate test results, commission / optimize systems, capture appropriate data to validate system performance, assemble and review closeout package, etc.). Support installation team with technical assistance needed to complete projects. Assist in the development of technical standards and train team members as needed. Participate in project post-mortem calls to review lessons learned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Must be proficient with iBwave. Four-year college degree in Engineering or a technical field, Electrical Engineering or Radio Frequency Engineering preferred. Equivalent work experience considered. A minimum of 5 years of In-building Telecommunications / DAS / ERRCS / industry experience required. Demonstrated success delivering large venue projects such as stadiums, airports, hospitals, convention centers, casinos, campus environments, MDU's, etc. Demonstrated experience utilizing test equipment (Sweep, PIM, Spectrum Analyzer, Scanner, Test Phones, etc.)

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Frequent overnight domestic travel, up to 30% required

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS

iBwave Certificate preferred but experience is necessary Valid Driver's License Ability to obtain manufacturer certifications as needed

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
