Description
Robert Half has partnered with a non-profit in Denver in search of a Sr. Accountant! The Sr. Accountant position is paying $85,000-$95,000, a hybrid work schedule, and a generous benefits package!
The Sr. Accountant will be responsible for the following:
Maintain general ledger and prepare monthly reconciliations of key general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy of balances.
Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes.
Perform the daily bank reconciliation and monthly reconciliations of cash accounts.
Assist in the management of the company credit card program.
Manage the accounts payable process, including grants, to ensure timely payment and vendor management.
Develop and maintain a process of internal tracking and reporting on all impact investments.
Support the annual financial audit activities and inquiries.
Assists with special projects with the CFO.
Requirements for the Sr. Accountant include:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics
3+ years of accounting experience
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Blackbaud software experience (nice to have, but not required)
Grant accounting experience (nice to have, not required)
Non-profit accounting experience (nice to have, not required)
