Job Title: HVAC Service Technician
Des Moines, Iowa
Monday – Friday / 7 am – 4 pm / Weekly Pay
Job Summary: Seeking a skilled/experienced - HVAC Service Technician. The successful Service Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential or commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC systems, be able to troubleshoot issues efficiently and provide excellent customer service.
(HVAC Journeyman Certification Automatically Qualifies for Position)
Responsibilities:
Install new HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and replacing filters, coils, and other components.
Diagnose and repair issues with HVAC systems, including leaks, faulty thermostats, and other problems.
Work with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
Communicate with customers to provide updates on work progress and resolve any issues that arise.
Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Collaborate with other technicians and staff members to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
Requirements:
2+ years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician or HVAC Journeyman.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
Ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently and provide effective solutions. (Mechanically Minded)
Excellent customer service skills, including strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
