ManpowerGroup Maintenance Technician II in Des Moines, Iowa
Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician II, you will be part of the operations team supporting various cross-functional groups. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Maintenance Technician II
Location: Des Moines, Iowa
Pay Range: $55,000 - $60,000
What's the Job?
Partner with cross-functional teams to operate, test, and troubleshoot machinery and equipment, identifying issues and proposing solutions.
Work with engineering and design teams to implement, modify, or install equipment and components to meet production requirements.
Develop custom tools, jigs, and fixtures tailored to unique production needs.
Perform repair, overhaul, and maintenance work on machinery and manufacturing equipment.
Assist with facility maintenance and clean-up efforts during and after special projects.
What's Needed?
Minimum of two years' experience in equipment maintenance and repair.
Proficient in using tools, fixtures, and equipment, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Strong mechanical, electrical, and systems aptitude, including familiarity with PLCs.
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Good physical stamina and the ability to handle physical demands.
