ManpowerGroup Mig Welder Fabricator in Dixon, Illinois

Mig Welder- Fabricator - 1st & 2nd shifts

Immediate need for a dependable, career minded, skilled and experienced MIG Welder to join the team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in welding, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality work

  • 1st and 2nd shifts

  • Pay depends on experience

  • Please have resume and diploma/GED/Transcripts ready to provide

  • In person interview required

Responsibilities:

  • Perform MIG welding on various metals and components according to blueprints and specifications.

  • Set up and operate welding machines and related equipment.

  • Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

  • Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment.

  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.

  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Proven experience as a MIG Welder.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

  • Proficiency in using welding equipment and hand tools.

  • Strong attention to detail and precision.

  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Knowledge of safety standards and practices.

  • Certification in welding (preferred but not required).
