STV Incorporated Engineering Specialist in Douglassville, Pennsylvania

Reference #: JR2062 STV currently has openings in ourPhiladelphia, Pittsburgh, Douglassville, Harrisburg, PA, Newark or Lawrenceville, NJoffices for Water Resources Engineering Specialist to join our Water Resource Design Team in our Transportation and Infrastructure Division.

The successful candidate will have experience with aspects of water resource engineering includingdrainage, E&S, stormwater management, design of conveyance systems and solving waterway and NPDES permitting challenges for bridge and highway projects.You will also be involved in storm sewer and channel design, hydrologic studies, hydraulic modeling, technical writing, waterway and NPDES permitting as well as other water resources related areas.

The Water Resources Engineering Specialist will assist other senior staff in collaborating with various agencies throughout PA and/or NJ.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Successful completion of the FE exam (EIT certification) preferred 0-5 years of experience with an interest in hydraulics, hydrology, and stormwater infrastructure Ability to interpret state codes, regulatory literature, and design manuals Proficiency using Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, etc) Experience using Bentley OpenRoads or MicroStation Experience preferred but not required: OpenFlows, InRoads, PondPack, StormCAD, HydroCAD, or other hydraulic and hydrologic modeling tools is a plus

Compensation Range:$58,475.00 - $77,966.00
