Job Duties and Qualifications
Systems Engineering - Project Manager (PM)
The Project Manager (PM) will work across the organization, working closely with manufacturing and design teams to ensure that the projects are on time and in budget as well as meeting functional and technical requirements.
Job Responsibilities
Under general supervision, manages multiple internal projects throughout the project life cycle (single or multidiscipline projects)
Drives various components of project planning and execution on multiple projects such as completion of multiple detailed project specifications.
Leads project activities across functional groups.
Ensures that project deliverables are properly completed and directly impacts cost containment, efficiency, or profitability of operations.
Monitor Project Progress and Set deadlines with clarity.
Provides guidance and mentoring to more junior team members.
Able to identify and manage risks to successful project delivery and familiar with risk management tools.
Demonstrate strong leadership skills and encourage moral support to the team.
Required Skills:
4-5 years of PM experience
Familiarity: mechanical system, controls hardware and software
Technical knowledge: ability to learn and understand the Surface Equipment – Pumping technology.
Attention to detail and Strong organizational skills.
Strong communications skills, (Written and Verbal) - ability to engage all stakeholders including project team and leadership.
Interpersonal skill - Ability to develop relationships across the departments/disciplines.
Proficient in Microsoft Project and Azure
Must have the ability to travel internationally while working in foreign environments for extended periods. Typical travel up to 25% project base per year
Candidates must be flexible to travel to other offices, shipyards and offshore for extended periods when required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of Global Marine Regulatory Agency’ rules for offshore equipment design and installation (IMO, IMDG, EEEC, ATEX, MARPOL, SOLAS)
PMP certification
Education Requirements:
Requires completion of an undergraduate degree in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM), and 4 years of related experience.
