Description
We are looking to bring on board a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to be part of our team in the industry situated in the East Brunswick, New Jersey area. The Accounting Analyst will be instrumental in managing our credit card functionality and ensuring the accuracy of our financial data. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Analyzing daily and monthly credit card statements to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Administering payment accounts to ensure smooth transactions and accurate record-keeping.
• Ensuring data accuracy for all credit card transactions in Concentration Banking accounts.
• Conducting reconciliations regularly to ensure all financial data is accurately recorded.
• Utilizing skills in Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Financial Analysis for efficient performance.
• Making decisions based on best judgment, experience, and established procedures and policies.
• Providing support to the Senior Manager as required.
• Not managing any direct reports, focusing on individual tasks and responsibilities.
Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role
• Proficiency with accounting functions and principles
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) procedures
• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
• Demonstrated skills in financial analysis
• A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High proficiency with accounting software and office productivity suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks
• Strong understanding of regulatory standards in accounting.
