Job Title: CNC Grinding Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced CNC Turning/Lathe Set-Up Operator to join our team. This role involves setting up and running machines, with a focus on teaching and mentoring others. This position operates on the first shift from 7 AM to 3:30 PM.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC Lathes (2-axis and multi-axis) such as Eurotech, Hardinge, Wasino, and Okuma.
Work with blueprints, operation sheets, and other work instructions.
Set tools, change tools, and edit programs.
Use standard gauges and inspection techniques.
Perform SPC, inspection documentation, and problem-solving.
Demonstrate progression within machine operation.
Mentor and teach other team members.
Essential Skills
3+ years of set-up experience on CNC Lathes.
Familiarity with Fanuc and/or Okuma Controls.
Ability to work with blueprints and operation sheets.
Proficiency in using standard gauges and inspection techniques.
Experience with SPC and inspection documentation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with aerospace products and/or other close tolerance parts is a plus.
Ability to teach and mentor others.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
