Job Title: CNC Grinding Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CNC Turning/Lathe Set-Up Operator to join our team. This role involves setting up and running machines, with a focus on teaching and mentoring others. This position operates on the first shift from 7 AM to 3:30 PM.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC Lathes (2-axis and multi-axis) such as Eurotech, Hardinge, Wasino, and Okuma.

  • Work with blueprints, operation sheets, and other work instructions.

  • Set tools, change tools, and edit programs.

  • Use standard gauges and inspection techniques.

  • Perform SPC, inspection documentation, and problem-solving.

  • Demonstrate progression within machine operation.

  • Mentor and teach other team members.

Essential Skills

  • 3+ years of set-up experience on CNC Lathes.

  • Familiarity with Fanuc and/or Okuma Controls.

  • Ability to work with blueprints and operation sheets.

  • Proficiency in using standard gauges and inspection techniques.

  • Experience with SPC and inspection documentation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with aerospace products and/or other close tolerance parts is a plus.

  • Ability to teach and mentor others.

Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
