The Grill at Crooked Creek Marina is looking to add a customer-focused, energetic Assistant Restaurant Manager to our team. Apply now to have the unique opportunity to work in a fun atmosphere with an amazing team at our lakeside restaurant.

Overview:

The Assistant Restaurant Manager (ARM) oversees and supports the day-to-day operations of the restaurant while working in conjunction with the Restaurant Manager to enhance performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability of the restaurant. The ideal candidate must be an excellent leader who is also knowledgeable in food and customer service standards. The goal of the ARM is to facilitate the development and management of the restaurant to ensure long-term success.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Receive inventory counts and order in accordance with item pars.

  • Manage food and beverage vendor relationships.

  • Manage food, beverage, and labor costs.

  • Create menus and recipes.

  • Recruit, train, and manage team members.

  • Create schedules and prep payroll.

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws as well as food handling and beverage service guidelines.

  • Review restaurant metrics and measure goals.

  • Create, evaluate, and maintain proper restaurant processes and procedures.

  • Follow up on guest issues with both guests and team members.

  • Maintain a clean facility and report any maintenance. / Repair needs as they rise

  • Anything else needed or asked upon.

What Does a Qualified Candidate Looks Like?

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

  • Previous supervisory experience with proven knowledge of restaurant processes

  • Knowledge of industry's legal rules and guidelines

  • Proficient in MS Office and POS software

  • Guest-orientated and trustworthy

  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities

  • Outstanding communication and people skills

  • Ability to multitask, problem solve, and make decisions

  • Attention to cleanliness and safety

  • Full Weekend Availability (Friday, Saturday, & Sunday)

  • ServSafe certification is preferred
