Primary Objective:

Assemble MTS hydro-mechanical subsystems.

Major Areas of Accountability:

  1. Assembles hydro-mechanical subsystems according to engineering blueprints and specifications, bills of materials and manufacturing process documentation.

  2. Meets standards for quality, efficiency, and schedule.

  3. Interprets engineering documents to determine results and processes.

  4. Ability to use hand tools, specialized tooling, and basic measuring equipment.

  5. Troubleshoots and repairs new and customer hydro-mechanical subsystems.

  6. Disassembles and diagnose problems.

  7. Develops solutions and resolves performance issues.

  8. Collaborates to maintain accuracy of documents and records per MTS policies.

  9. Initiates modifications and/or improvements to engineering and manufacturing documentation.

  10. Actively and accurately executes non-conforming materials process.

  11. Participates in process and quality improvement activities.

  12. Exhibits professionalism on the job at MTS.

  13. Behaves in a respectful manner toward coworkers, engineers, supervisors, and customers.

  14. Communicates effectively with coworkers, engineers, supervisors, and customers.

  15. Maintains and actively develops skills assembling & testing MTS products and industry technology.

  16. Participates in required training.

  17. Provides training (as appropriate for salary grade).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Two year certification from college or trade school or military training in an applicable discipline (mechanics, hydraulics, electronics) or Four years applicable experience in an applicable environment.
