Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Edina, Minnesota
Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations on industrial manufacturing equipment.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair breakdowns related to mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Perform teardown, repair, replacement, and reassembly of equipment components such as motors, gearboxes, clutches, bearings, and electrical units.
Conduct regular maintenance on building equipment, including sprinkler systems, pumps, chillers, compressors, and power distribution systems.
Assist with ordering parts, standardizing components, and maintaining inventory for repairs.
Support outside contractors on-site as needed.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Utilize Microsoft applications such as Visio, Excel, Word, and Outlook for documentation and reporting.
Responsible for any other special projects as assigned.
Overtime may be required as needed.
Essential Skills
5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
4+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Applications including Visio, Excel, Word, and Outlook
Troubleshooting
Hydraulics
Pneumatics
Preventive maintenance
Electrical
PLC troubleshooting
PLC control
Basic understanding of electrical system distribution
Blueprint reading
Electrical troubleshooting
Maintenance repair
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Technical or Associate’s degree or certification in Automation or PLC.
Experience with parametric and industrial control systems.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Forward-thinking with a desire for innovation, creativity, and continued education.
Experience working in a union/unionized manufacturing environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $83200.00/yr.
