We are actively seeking an Analytical Team Lead to oversee and lead the analytical testing activities at our client site. As a key member of our team, you will serve as the primary liaison between our company and the client, ensuring seamless communication and client satisfaction. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to support a small but dynamic analytical team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support new hire interviews, on-boarding process of new employees and performance management and professional development of analysts at varying experience levels.

  • Drive team performance by tracking and managing key performance indicators using internal and external metrics.

  • Mentor and guide team members in the successful execution of analytical testing activities and deliverables.

  • Provide technical expertise in a variety of analytical techniques, including but not limited to HPLC, LC/GC, Karl Fisher, UV, and titration.

  • Perform analyses, data processing and present results to internal stakeholders and in technical reports.

  • Perform basic laboratory and equipment maintenance and housekeeping.

  • Oversee and troubleshoot analytical challenges, ensuring the highest quality of results.

  • Act as the main point of contact between the analytical team and the client.

  • Ensure clear and effective communication, addressing client service requirements and feedback.

  • Bachelor’s in chemistry or a related Science discipline.

  • 2+ years of experience in a laboratory setting, with a strong background in analytical techniques.

  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.

  • Proven ability to mentor and develop junior analysts.

  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a supervisory or mentorship role.

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.

  • Authorization to work in Canada
