Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Warehouse/Tools Coordinator to join our project!
What You'll Be Doing:
Issue tools and equipment to maintenance personnel, recording the issues and returns.
File, index, and update inventory cards for tools received from the stockroom.
Inspect new and repaired tools and equipment to ensure proper operation.
Write requisitions and tallies for tool repair or replacement.
Write transmittals to release tools and equipment for repair by vendors.
Conduct inventory as required.
Perform necessary preventive maintenance and repairs on tools and equipment.
Perform general clean-up, clerical, or maintenance work related to the tool crib's operation.
Observe safe work practices.
Maintain cleanliness of tool room and area.
Process tool request orders in a timely manner.
Maintaining inventory and basic filing systems (electronic).
Scheduling small tool maintenance and repairs when needed.
Give proper care to the operation and maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
Be alert to risks and threats to prevent losses before they occur.
Must be dependable and reliable.
Must be flexible and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written.
Strong organizational skill
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Previous construction or relevant similar experience
Ticketed journeyperson in a construction trade an asset
Computer literacy, ability to use Excel spreadsheets and in-house software to track purchased items and whom they are assigned to
Ability to work on an active construction site- climbing stairs and ladders as required; working in heat, cold; noise; dust; vibration;
May be asked to lift up to 50 lbs (or ask for assistance when doing so)
Skills, Competencies, Attributes:

Ability to safeguard and track location of tools and supplies
Ability to exercise sound judgment
Ability to build relationships with fellow employees
May be asked to work occasional weekends or afternoons during peak construction season
