Job Description
Set up and operate CNC HAAS machines to create parts. Work to machine metal parts and perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Read and interpret blueprints and blueprint symbols accurately.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machines.
Will be machining both prototypes as well as large batch production
Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Read and interpret blueprints and blueprint symbols.
Set up fixtures properly including clamping, centering, and indicating of fixture.
Set up cutting tools and change out inserts for cutting operations.
Control operations of equipment and monitor gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure machine is working properly.
Essential Skills
1-2+ years of CNC setup machining experience.
Ability to perform own 1st quality check before sending to quality department.
Proficient in reading blueprints, drawings, or templates.
Ability to make minor edits to code
Proficient in using measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, and bar gauges.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- All machines are vertical HAAS milling machines
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
