Major/Essential Functions:
Provides patient care in the area of vascular surgery in hospital and outpatient settings
Instructs and supervises medical students and surgery residents
Performs vascular surgical procedures
Conducts clinical research and / or produce scholarship related to vascular surgery
Provides on-call coverage, as scheduled
Serves the academic community through participations in institutional governance, such as committee work and other administrative duties
Contributes to the community through academically-related public service complimentary to the institutional mission
Ensures compliance and HIPAA and billing regulations
Adheres to institutional and departmental policies and procedures
Demonstrates professionalism in accordance with the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine's statement of Faculty Professional Responsibility

Required Qualifications:
M.D or D.O. degree
Successful completion of ACGME-accredited integrated vascular surgery residency program or successful completion of ACGME-accredited general surgery residency and vascular surgery fellowship programs
Texas Medical License, or eligible for licensure in the State of Texas
