Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Mid-Level Logistics Customer Support Specialist to join our team in El Segundo, CA .

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages and tracks accountable assets and property

  • Custodial Property Officer training will be required/provided for this role

  • Annual inventories will be performed and reported

  • Accesses database to monitor and provide customer stock movement at warehouse / storage area(s)

  • Respond to daily requests and work orders related to department functions such as typical office supply deliveries, ink-toner service, nameplate engraving, etc

  • Support Facilities work orders as needed

  • Coordinates and assists with office moves including ergonomic requests for workstation adjustments, etc.

  • Responsible for courier services as well as mail processing services for incoming/outgoing mail and package processing and handling

  • Assists with document collection and destruction processes

  • Coordinates incoming/outgoing transportation requests

  • Supports site fleet vehicle rentals and coordination of maintenance activities

  • Communicates with internal and external suppliers and customers to coordinate scheduled activities

  • Assists with procurements and interacts with suppliers and buyers when needed

  • Helps develop contract specifications for supplier goods and services and relevant products

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) U.S. Security Clearance with an adjudicated Counterintelligence or Full Scope Polygraph (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.).

Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years’ experience with Materials Management and Inventory in relation to Government and Capital property

  • 1+ years’ experience with SAP software or similar material management software

  • Proficient with MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

  • 1+ years’ experience with material planning and organizing

  • Self-motivated, ability to be self-directed with minimal supervision

  • 6 months’ experience with, and able to operate material handling equipment – forklift, pallet jack, etc.

  • Capable of lifting, pushing and pulling up to 35 pounds

  • Ability to drive delivery box truck (non-CDL). Must have valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with logistics / supply chain processes

  • 1+ years’ experience with warehousing operations

  • 1+ years’ experience with asset inventory and management

  • Familiar with construction materials and office/administrative supplies

  • Familiar with Facilities operations and support

  • Has performed audits and generated audit reports

  • Experience with MRP (material reorder point) management and reporting

  • Experience generating purchase requests within SAP

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $86,700 - $117,300
