As aMaintenance Technician,you’llbe responsible forÂensuring that all mechanical systems and equipment are operational and properly maintained and all common areas are maintained in a clean aesthetically appealing and disinfected condition.

This opportunity is availableat an on-site property inHinsdale, Illinois.Â

Your Responsibilities:Â Â

Â

• Monitor property entrance and authorize entrance of people and vehicles.Â
• Notify residents of visitors entering the property.Â

• Report any suspicious behaviors and happenings as directed by the Property Manager. Such reporting should be communicated either to the Property Manager or local police, as necessary, by calling 911. Â

• Monitor surveillance cameras across the community.Â

• Respond to emergency notices and reactin a timely mannerby calling the local authorities. Â
• Provide assistance topeople in need by offering directions andprovidingexceptional customer service. Â
• Receive after-hours emergency calls that should be redirected to the Property Manager or the maintenance team, whereappropriate, for further escalation. Â

• Conduct business at all times with the highest standards of personal, professional and ethical conduct. Â

• Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing the work. Â

Skills & Qualifications:Â Â

Â

• High school diploma or equivalent and 5 years’previousexperience as a Gatehouse Attendant or similar role.ÂÂ

• Ability to engage law enforcement, when necessary, to promote public safety.Â

• Works effectively with coworkers, clients, customers, and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner; addresses problems and issues constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical business solutions. Â

• Mustpossessa high energy attitude and an ability to multi-task/prioritize different projects at any given time.Â
• Superior oral and written communication skills.ÂÂ
• Ability to report on-sitefor a set schedule, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.Â
