Actalent Quality Lab Technician in Elk Grove Village, Illinois
Job Description
As a Quality Control Lab technician, you will ensure that all prescribed testing of production batches is conducted in accordance with established test methods and that all production batches meet established specifications. You will also approve final fill check panels for production. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ensure that all prescribed testing of production batches is conducted in accordance to established test methods and that all production batches are tested and meet established specifications.
Perform various quality testing including but not limited to color, gloss, viscosity, and physical properties, etc.
Determine adjustments required to bring product into quality specifications.
Ascertain that all batches meet required color limits and that all products meet specs prior to filling.
Approve final fill check panels for production.
Keep records of batch adjustments, fill checks, etc. on batch ticket.
Follow all ISO procedures.
Work on various short-term projects relating to the efficiency of the Quality Department determined by the Quality Manager.
Be aware of the labeling requirements for the hazardous waste container as part of their job function.
Maintain clean and organized work stations and the retain storage area.
Qualifications
1-2 years of quality control lab experience.
Ability to perform tests related to color, gloss, viscosity, and physical properties.
Knowledge of math including percentages and fractions.
Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
