Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Elmhurst, Illinois

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Resident Maintenance Technician and bring your industrial Electrical/Mechanical expertise to maximize equipment utilization and efficiency. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing processes to maintain optimal functionality. We expect advanced knowledge, discretion, and sound judgment in managing your time and services. You will be well-versed in electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, automated equipment, and robotic systems. You'll work closely with experienced engineers and supervisors to rectify electro-mechanical faults, respond to emergency calls, and provide first-class response to our customers. Additionally, you will be responsible for setting up and calibrating precision automation equipment, and training customer's maintenance teams as required. You will provide specialist maintenance support and ensure quality service by maintaining effective communication with customers.

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Elmhurst, Illinois.

Work Environment

This role is based in a climate-controlled automation warehouse environment. You may be required to work weekends and overtime depending on workload. Authorization to work in the U.S. is a prerequisite, and occasional travel may be required, so a passport or the ability to obtain one is necessary. Professional office etiquette is expected at all times. Physical requirements may include sitting, squatting, walking, reaching out to arm’s length, reaching overhead, and lifting between 50-100 pounds.
