An industry-leading building materials manufacturer is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to join their team near Ennis, Texas. This company has been established over 100 years with 65 facilities and 6,500+ employees across North America. This position will lead the Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement program for the facility. There will be 2 direct reports.
The salary is commensurate with experience up to $125K plus an annual bonus and excellent health/retirement benefits. All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

responsibilities:
Implement Lean principles/practices to minimize all forms of waste
Identify ongoing lean improvement training needs and assist with developing and implementing the required training
Manage, develop, implement, and sustain a comprehensive Continuous Improvement program for all production employees
Develop, update, and maintain standard work instructions, One Point Lessons, training procedures, manuals, and training documentation for operator proficiency program for all positions and support supervisors with employee training
Carry out advanced data collection and analysis for process mapping, time studies, and job evaluations
Serves as 5S Plant Champion & supports 5S throughout the factory
Lead Kaizen events for continuous improvement\
Support the implementation of a formal problem solving system and supervise direct reports as assigned
