KBR Electrician (FMO Project) in Erbil, Iraq
Title:
Electrician (FMO Project)
Location - Erbil, Iraq - 12 weeks on/3 weeks off
Please note this role requires UK SC Clearance. Applicants must be eligible to obtain this level of clearance, which requires UK Nationality and 5 year foot print in the UK.
Responsibilities
Responsible for carrying out and completing planned, reactive, and remedial maintenance works as directed by the Site Lead
Inspection, maintenance, installation, and repair of electrical installations and Fire Alarm systems
Ensure compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act
Capable of working unsupervised within a management structure.
Ensure compliance with Theatre safe systems of work
Fill out PPM reports, logbooks, response maintenance reports, and all paperwork relating to associated tasks such as risk assessments and material requests
Compile EICR reports and rectify remedial actions
Assist other trades within and outside the core discipline
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Essential:
Must have completed a recognised apprenticeship within an electrical discipline
Previous electrical experience
Qualified to City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing
Qualified to 18th Edition BS 7671
Familiar with LV electrical systems; 50hz and 60hz of various voltages
Capable of working with limited supervision
Must demonstrate a good understanding of UK health and safety legislation and an ability to carry out risk assessments and propose actions for risk control/management
Experience and knowledge of City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing
Experience and knowledge of 18th Edition BS 7671
Desirable:
Experience working on operations in austere remote sites or in developing nations
Hold a current driver’s license
Experience as an AP in an electrical discipline
Experience and qualifications for HV systems
